Sex Therapy

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy, is a holistic, solution-focused approach for those who are looking for ways to improve intimacy, sexual health, and overall well-being. Sex therapy helps couples and individuals overcome challenges that are often associated with shame and anxiety around sex. It provides a safe and non-judgmental space to work through issues with confidentiality.

Once in session, clients will experience therapy conducted in a nonjudgmental environment that values honesty regarding all sexualities, gender identification or non-binary identification, fantasies, and diversity. This approach has been successful in:

Helping individuals and couples increase intimacy within a partnership.
Promote and maintain positive sexual activity.
Increase confidence in all aspects of a client’s life.

When there is an issue regarding sex, it can negatively influence everyday interactions, both in and out of the bedroom. Sex therapy can assist in overcoming these challenges through education and assignments that focus on healing past painful or shameful experiences, improving communication, and helping to develop sexual esteem and connectivity.
